We were incredibly humbled and honored to have received the Community Impact Award at last month's NY NOW Digital Market!
The award was for our Fair Trade Month Mask Initiative that began with a quest to get extra help to our artisans during a very difficult year, and resulted in donating 100% of the proceeds for (what's turning into) three batches of masks! The first batch sold through in just over a month, which allowed us to donate nearly $5000 to communities in need in India to help with COVID relief efforts. Our second batch has allowed us to double that, and the artisans are now sewing our third batch of masks. We'll have more in stock soon! We plan to continue this project as long as masks are needed, and it was amazing that the team at NY NOW highlighted this initiative and it's impact!
